Ergo Championship 2018

The Bulgarian Canoe-Kayak Federation will hold an ergometer kayaking championship for men and women, as well as senior and junior boys and girls, on 27 January 2018. (Saturday) in Sofia at the “Vasil Levski” National Sports Academy Student City (multi-purpose hall) in the following disciplines: 1,000 metres for men and junior boys, 500 metres for women and junior girls, as well as 500 metres for men and women aged 45 and over. Those finishing in the top three places will be awarded medals and prizes. The competition will be streamed live online on the Federation’s website. The winners will be awarded medals and prizes. Format: The competition will take place on 8 simulators - The simulators will be linked via a centralised system that displays the results and simulates a race, which is projected onto a large screen and will be hosted by a presenter with plenty of music and commentary. All participants will run the 1,000m and 500m distances twice (heats and finals A and B).
