Ergo Championship 2022

The Bulgarian Canoe-Kayak Federation will hold an ergometer kayaking championship for men and women, senior and junior boys and girls, and veterans on 29 January 2022. (Saturday) in Sofia, at the multi-purpose hall of the National Sports Academy. The competition will take place over a distance of 1,000 metres for men, juniors, junior and senior boys, and over 500 metres for women and junior and senior girls, in accordance with the International Federation’s regulations (heats and finals). There will be a 500-metre race for veterans. Technical meeting at 10.30 am. 11.00 am: Official opening. 11.30 am: First start.

The competition will take place on 8 rowing machines. These will be linked via a centralised system that displays the results and simulates a rowing race.

The rowing machines will be used for the first time with a new and modern system; a team of specialists from Denmark, led by Oleg Torp, has been invited for this purpose.

You will all be able to watch the action on the big screen, where the starts will be projected.

If you prefer, you can also watch the competition on your mobile phone – provided, of course, that it has an internet connection.

The races will be streamed live online via the Bulgarian Canoe-Kayak Federation’s website www.canoe-bg.com

We wish all competitors the best of luck, and may the best compete!
