The Bulgarian Canoe-Kayak Federation and the city of Plovdiv will host two World Championships in 2024.
In July 2024, the rowing canal in Plovdiv will welcome some of the world’s elite canoe-kayak athletes. From 19 to 21 July 2024, the World Championships for juniors, youth and under-23s will take place. Over 1,000 participants are expected.
A week earlier, from 10 to 14 July 2024, the World Veterans Championships will take place.
This month, the federation’s management also plans to celebrate the 100th anniversary of canoeing and kayaking in Bulgaria.
